Job Description

Reports to Public Affairs Director. Enhance the visibility of Roswell, NM through strategic partnerships, special events and the unique attributes of the community.  Plan, develop and implement annual tourism events working closely with the Occupancy Tax Board.  Manages the use of and reimbursement of Lodgers’ Tax for special events.  Oversee the planning and implementation of outreach strategies and execution for all city organized events. Responsible for connecting people in the broader community by creating sponsorship agreements and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals, and other relevant organizations.
